Tristan Saffron-Cottrell

Tristan Saffron-Cottrell is a graphic designer who was raised in Mayfield, OH for most of his life. When deciding on colleges, Bowling Green State University was his first decision for design schools. Tristan has been described as "glitzy" as a designer, according to Amy Fidler, which he whole heartedly agrees with. His work frequently focuses on the gender and sexuality in reflective ways. His thesis, Duality of a Greek Man, shows the intersections of a gay man in a heteronormative system, as well as how gender expression is important to his every day life. Tristan plans on returning to Cleveland in pursuit of a job in the field of Graphic Design. Further into the future, he plans on moving to Chicago to further not only his career, but his love for big cities!
